@jassmine - No problem, m'lady. I haven't finished it yet, so I was going to wait before I gave you a full review. I just finished the end of where Missy went missing and they found her bloody dress. Large parts of that were very gripping, and I look forward to the weird theology coming up... but on the whole I find the story overwritten. I'm glad the author, who obviously felt he had to tell the story, got his words out, though. How are you?
Nutella is a good cheater food. What did you think of the shack. I think I ask before but you didn't answer and can't see where I asked now. Judi
Emily! I get the sense you're a Lucy Maud Montgomery fan (from your mention of Sara Crewe and Anne); have you ever read Emily of New Moon?
p.s. Coincidentally, I just finished reading Zen & the Art of Motorcycle maintenance..... i'm still kinda absorbing, though.
Dear Emily,
(I'm the only one who writes on a chatboard like it's a letter.) I'm only wearing the "digital greasepaint" to announce my new website, "Clowns", and will change the profile pic in a couple of weeks when I finally finish the "internet movie" for display on my site. I thought it was interesting that you mentioned being scared of Tim Curry in "It". That is such a great miniseries until the end with the "big spider" that is badly imagined. Now it could be done digitally of course. Interesting to think that ol' Tim put the fear of clowns into thousands of children with that performance. (And he's Frank N. Furter in the Rocky Horror Picture Show too!)

i'm around a little, mostly just reading, thinking, and more thinking!!!
Hi Emily! Thank you for your kind offer to help with the moving! I think we are pretty well set up and have gotten all the difficult stuff out of the way for now... I'm just going to be moving what I can fit in my car, so, when I show up in May, it should be a real simple move. Wow. I have a lot of adjusting to do in Ohio... It is going to be like a whole different world. I hope you had a Happy Easter! :)
she is a fascinating woman whom has done much with her life... she always amazes me!!! i think you'll find a bit of you in her as well! :)
The first time Emily and I talked online after we met in school, I came in the next day and gushed to everyone about what a great conversationalist she was and went on about how we had a nice long talk about inconsequential minutiae. I'm sure in some small way she was very embarrassed beyond belief
